EYELASH EXTENSIONS

When extensions are applied safely by a fully trained lash technician, it is 100% safe.

All eyelash extensions materials are artificial, namely PBT (Polybutylene Terephtalate). Lashes such as “mink, “silk”and others are used back in the days basically just for marketing purposes. All the lashes used at Crystal Lash Artistry salon are korean materials. They are hypoallergenic, beautiful and long lasting.

As a beauty specialist, my goal is to discover your needs and concerns and understand your expectations. There is a variety of lash extensions designs to help changing the features on your face and enhancing your beauty.

Yes, it is absolutely fine to wear makeup. Please  avoid using mascara on your extensions and make sure to remove all makeup completely at the end of the day.

The best way to maintain good hygiene on your lashes is by using a lash extension safe shampoo. If you don’t have one available, you can still use water to clean your lashes. However, please steer away from any oil based cleansers and products around the eye area. Alternatively, you can also purchase a bottle of lash shampoo during your next appointment at Crystal Lash Artistry.

EYELASH EXTENSIONS AFTERCARE

  • Try not to wet your lashes for 24 hours after your appointment
  • Oil breaks down the bond in the glue, therefore avoid getting oil ( found in moistures, makeup, cleansers, pizza) on them
  • No mascara unless it is lash extension safe.
  • Wash your lashes regularly with a foaming oil free lash cleanser. Gently pat them dry afterwards.
  • Avoid rubbing your eyes and playing with your lashes.
  • Brush your beautiful lashes everyday.
  • An infill is required to keep your lashes in shape and flawless. Ideally every 2-3 weeks.

BROWS

Brow tinting is the processing of dye your eyebrow hair, not your skin. If you have sparse eyebrow hair and wish to fill in the gaps, it is recommended that you look into alternate treatments such as microblading.

A colour that is not right for you could make you look pale, washed out or unnatural. By analysing your skin tone, I can determine whether it is warm or cold tone, in order to blend the tint colour that is ideal for you.

Brow tint will generally last about 4 weeks. However, the way you look after your brows and your skin type may also impact the longevity of the result.

Threading and waxing are equally effective. Threading is only preferable if you suffered allergic reactions from wax in the past. Both method can deliver professional results, you will be sure to receive the best brow shaping result.
